Driving from Auckland...
Take State Highway 1 South (signposted to Hamilton). Travel over the Bombay Hills. State Highway No 2 diverges to the left. Continue following No 1 South straight ahead.

Continue on Highway 1 (you will pass turnoff to Pokeno) until you reach Mercer (railway line on left, river and Mercer Country Stop - Mobil petrol station on right). At Mercer, take exit marked “Mercer/Pukekawa” - once at top of exit ramp, you will reach a T junction – turn left – this is Koheroa Road.

Continue on Koheroa Road for 5.9 km to No 590 - you will see our "Skydive Auckland" sign on the fence – turn right into gravel road. Continue on gravel road, past 1st house on left and take next left into driveway marked with an airfield sign. If you get lost phone us on 0800 865 867 for help.
 


Trip should take approximately 40-45 minutes from central Auckland depending on traffic conditions.

Driving from Hamilton...
  • Take State Highway 1 North and exit at Mercer/Pukekawa.
  • Turn left at 1st road before the service centre (leads behind the Muddy Waters Tavern).
  • Turn left again at end of road (the Waikato River is in front of you).
  • Follow this road to the left where it crosses back over the motorway. This bridge is the start of Koheroa Road.
  • Measure 5.9 kms from the turn off and turn right at the airfield sign into a private gravel road.
  • Take first left to NZSkydive Auckland/Mercer Airfield.
 
Driving from Thames/Tauranga...
  • Take State Highway 2 North.
  • Go past the Castle Shop at Mangatawhiri and turn first left into Koheroa Road.
  • Measure 5 KMs and turn left at airfield sign into a private gravel road.
  • Take first left to NZSkydive Auckland/Mercer airfield.
